A brief history of fudge:
It is rumoured that fudge was first discovered in the early 1800s, by someone “fudging” i.e. messing up a hard toffee boil and heating it to a lower temperature than should have been used. The resulting product was found to be “melt in the mouth” and became more popular than the toffee. Take a trip back in time and try this mouthwatering delicacy today!
We are a family-run business, based in Tunbridge Wells.
Our freshly made, delicious fudge is created from a long-established recipe. We heat it to the temperature that makes the final product “melt-in-the-mouth”. We use a much higher proportion of cream and butter than many other companies, which add to the smooth buttery texture. Also, unlike many other fudges, there isn’t any golden syrup in our recipe.
The recipe was developed by the founder over a number of years by hand-making in small batches. Available in only one flavour – “cream and butter’” Once you try it you’ll continue to buy it.
Offered either in 140 gram bags, or beautiful cardboard boxes (also containing 140 grams), both finished with a royal blue hand-tied satin ribbon.
Perfect for small presents or stocking fillers – why not try serving after-dinner alongside coffee? It’s also great by itself at any other time of the day!
